Rock Chic Review: r&r mag
From r&r mag, Nov 06 Issue #12:
"Once again Rock chick brought The Dorrigo Hotel to its knees.
Truly a night of deliverance by the Rock Goddesses. The raunchy vibrant sounds of Lea Gillard, The seductive and sultry; Miss Rosie 4tune, and the alluring voice of the Princess Leah.
Resuscitating the great rock classics with mini skirts and seductive lighting created the pure Rock Chic ambience.
Geoff Dixon on bass, Glen Heath on guitar and Dan Power on drums rocked it up to the girls who had the crowd pumping, it was all masterly held together by Soundman, the ingenious “Mr O.”
The band covers the great female artists, Pretenders, Courtney Love, Sheryl Crowe to name a few.
Rocking the mid north coast now for some years. Rock Chic delivers a matured quality sound, with enough pump to wake the largest of the sleeping rock giants. Have You Been Rocked Lately?
Catch them at a venue near you. Or at r&r’s birthday playing all original material."
